Galway's first Microbrewery Bar has opened in Salthill, Galway with the official launch of its own organic Bay Ale and Bay Lager. The Oslo Microbrewery Bar is Galway's first in-house mircrobrewery bar and is perfectly situated just off the prom facing Galway Bay. Bay Ale and Bay Lager were named by locals. Bay Ale is a copper coloured, traditional ale with malt and hop aromas and a smooth and well-balanced flavour. Bay Lager is a crisp golden colour dry and aromatic, malt on the palate, with a dry hop aftertaste.
Each brew produces up to 1,000 litres at a time and is a fine example of organic farming to produce a purer product for Galway beer connoisseurs.
